"This is a very good product (with some downsides). It makes very good scones (just biscuits with a little sugar or sugar substitute). I'm happy it doesn't have the cheap filler (soy) flour in it. It makes good biscuits, a bit flaky. A downside is you can really taste the baking soda in this (sodium bicarbonate) but at least it's aluminum-free. It makes good pancakes, scones and biscuits. It's a decent replacement for chicken and biscuits. I have not tried cakes, bread, cookies or pie crust, I'm thinking it wouldn't work for that because I can taste the grainy ground rice flour in it. But the others mentioned above would work well. If they could improve two things on it: a little less on the baking soda, and a little more "ground" so it has a floury feel to it when baking."
