"If you want to grind your own flax seed, this does the job. Taste is average like most flax seed. I love the taste of NSI Organic Flaxseed much better but its also more expensive and already ground."

"I love flax seeds, despite the numerous health benefits of consuming flax seeds, they also have a nice neutral taste that can easily be added to numerous recipes. I made sure that I bought the whole seeds because if you buy the already ground seeds you can expect for the seeds to go rancid quickly if not already rancid by the time that you purchase them with no way of being able ot detect that. With the whole seeds, you must grind them before consumption. I bought just a regular coffee grinder and it works perfectly for grinding all seeds. If you want to save some time, you can just grind up enough seeds for frequent usuage and then store them in the fridge or freezer. I also recommend that once you open the bag of flax seeds that you store them in a glass container or jar."

"You have to grind these to get the Omega 3 benefits, which I do in a coffee grinder, a small batch at a time. Then I make muffins with flaxseeds, whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and assorted fruits, nuts, and chocolate nibs. You can always count on Arrowhead Mills for quality and value. This product is a staple in my home."

"I grind these in the coffee grinder and make muffins with whole wheat flour and rolled oats. For my taste, they are too strongly flavored to eat without mixing them with other grains/nuts/seeds. You can always count on Arrowhead Mills for top quality products and great value."
