"don't be afraid of the new/old. never heard of this wheat relative before. very tatsty mixed half and half with reg. white flour for baking. good results."

"This is such a great flour and the price it good too. As we age the wheat flour we are all used to is so much harder to digest. This is much easier on your digestive system. I only use whole grain spelt or white spelt in everything I cook."

"This flour is good for baking. I make chocolate chips cookies with it. Best thing is I have other options besides wheat flours. Bag is kinda small though."

"Not only do we genetically modify and hybridize the strain of wheat we grow in the US, but we slip it into every product imaginable including oat cereal and soy sauce! Small wonder to many people develop wheat allergies in the country. For some folks it may be they have a true gluten sensitivity, but for many it turns out that a more wholesome variety of wheat like Spelt or Kamut is more easily digested. Weekends at my house mean home made spelt bread, spelt waffles and luscious whole grain minimally sweet desserts."
