Hard like a bar of soap!

"It smells wonderful. However, it is so hard that you just cannot smear it on yourself. I tried scraping little shavings and then rubbing them between my palms but nothing worked. It is impossible to use as a moisturizer. I guess you would have to heat it in the microwave or a hair dryer each time you want to use it. I wouldn't mind using a hair dryer, but as it is in a plastic jar, I do not want to heat it up for the BPA and other plastic leaching concerns. I would not recommend it at all unless the company made it emollient enough to serve its purpose."

"Like everyone else... It is really hard to microwave, and I found the smell a little stronger than I would have liked. Overall I think it's a good product, I mixed it with coconut oil and vitamen E oil. My skin is soft all day. :o)"

"Either this product is junk or Vitacost was selling something defect... I put it in Microwave for 10 minutes and even longer, still hard like a rock.. and it's summer time!!!!! I threw it to the trash can..."

Aura Cacia Organic Cocoa Butter Directions

Remove cap and plastic disc from jar before placing in the microwave. heat only until product is softened. Let product cool before applying to skin. Use as desired to soften dry skin and provide a smoother-looking appearance. For aromatherapy applications, gently melt cocoa butter and blend with essential oils.

Ingredients: Fair trade organic theobroma cacao (cocoa) butter.
