"The only complaint I have about this is that it takes some rubbing to get your skin not looking ridiculously white. But I guess that's the trade-off with most natural sunscreens, since they create a physical barrier instead of a chemical one, the titanium or zinc is supposed to sit on top of your skin to block UV. I'd rather not have my skin absorb unsafe chemicals, so it's a fair trade-off.

I do like that this stuff is unscented, though. It's a nice product, I like the company, and good price on this site."

"I use sunscreen on regular basis and am always looking for a great sunscreen that my sensitive face can tolerate. I'm familiar with Avalon organics products but have not seen this product at my local store. I took a chance when I saw it offered at Vitacost and am very happy with it. It is so mild and comfortable on my face and switched from the other product immediately. Will probably order several more bottles as the weather warms up."

"I purchased this for my son. I put it on him in the morning before he went to summer school. At noon the kids went to the town pool for an hour. My son never got sunburned, even though I had applied the suncreen 3 hours before he got to the pool! I'm very happy with this product. I originally purchased it because both my son & I get a rash from chemical sunscreens. Unfortunately I still got a rash from this product, but my son did not."

"I used this in Palm Springs all day by the pool and was very well protected. Spreads over the skin easily. after a few applications it does show up on the skin a little but in my opinion it is worth it to use a natural sunscreen that works."

Apply liberally at least 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply as needed. For children under age of 6 months please consult a physician before use.
