"This is one of the easiest and tastiest meals for on the go. A bit high in sodium, but if you don't overdo it, no problem. The red beans and rice meal is well seasoned with just the right amount of kick! Congrats to Backpacker's Pantry."

"I highly recommend these. Lightweight, delicious and nutritious. And super convenient camping in bear country cause there is no clean up (if you eat from the bag!).
Would like to see more vegetarian options from Backpacker's Pantry."

"The rice and beans cook very well and don't taste freeze-dried at all. Just the right amount of spice for me, although my boyfriend could have used a little more kick."
