"It detangles hair easily without breaking it and it feels great gliding across your scalp. Wonderful on thick hair. I use it before shampooing and after blow drying. This brush is inexpensive, solid and has a nice striped design. I love it!"

"I have used the Bass wood bristle hairbrush for several years, and I love it! The straight bristles work well on my curly hair, and unlike other wooden bristle brushes whose bristles have a knobule on the end, the excess hair and "lint" doesn't get trapped at the bottom of the bristles. It doesn't get tangled in my hair as easily, either. Curly hair needs help because it's more brittle than straight hair, and these brushes are even better than natural bristles, which are too soft to get through my thick hair."

"Pretty much any wood bristled brush is your best hair care tool. Wood helps evenly distribute hair care products and natural oils, as well as detangling hair without breakage, or at least as much breakage. With naturally curly hair, I find that wood bristled brushes detangle my faster and painlessly. I've owned many wood bristled brushes and this brand I would say is pretty good, and you can buy better brands, or better quality, for more money. I use this one in the shower after conditioning, and when blow drying to help distribute oils more evenly."
