L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid found in the muscles. The body uses glutamine for protein synthesis to build muscles, preventing it from going into a catabolic state. That's when the body uses precious muscle for energy. Before building muscle the body pulls glutamine from the muscles for other uses in the body such as immune function, brain activity and to recover from stress or trauma That's why adding a full dosage of vitamin C is so important. Glutamine High-C will keep your health-up, your free radicals down, and your muscles charged.
