"I love the ingredients but the consistency of this sunscreen was horrible. It's a paste. It doesn't spread easily and leaves a white chalky residue on my skin. When I wear it in the sun, I still get color but it's in patches because it does not spread on evenly. I feel like I should layer it on but then the white chalky layer is even thicker and starts to paste up. If you are hairy, I would definitely not recommend this product to you unless we wanted to turn your follicles zinc white."

"I love using this one on my face and in tropical waters where environmental impact is of concern. Beyond Coastal makes super, high-quality products at great prices, especially when bought at Vitacost. I wish this one was more waterproof, but hey, we all need to reapply every time we come out of the water anyway, right? Great for my sensitive skin. Excellent to blend into your daily moisturizer. Be sure to check out their website and general philosophy."
