"I own this particular french press, and it does a great job. If you ever entertain guests, this is a good choice size as the smaller presses are better left for one or two people. As for it's functionality, it's simple and effective. I would recommend putting a tea cozy over the press after you have poured the first cups, because it will cool naturally, and the glass is not the best insulator. I also recommend grinding your own beans (rather course ground) and using one level scoop (using the scoop that comes with the press) per cup of water you plan on using. Four minutes seems to be a good time to brew the coffee before you press it. I give it five stars for it's construction, ease of use, and the quality of the end product. Highly recommended!"

"I've used these for 5 years and keep a couple of on hand for gifts. When I have company and they find these wine glasses so great, I just remember them for b-day, etc. Its a great gift I know they'll like and the price is affordable."

"I purchased these as a gift for my father. When these glasses were delivered, I opened them to ensure they had arrived in one piece. At first I was concerned that I had purchased the wrong item, they felt like plastic. I discussed it with my dad and had him try them out-the package said they were glass, maybe he would like them and they would be more durable-Initially, he thought they felt too light and plastic-ey. After a week of using them, he fell in love with them and now can't stop talking about how great they look, how versatile they are and what a great purchase it was! Thanks!"
