Vitamin A is an essential nutrient in human nutrition. Each soft gel contains 25,000 IU of Vitamin A from fish liver oil.

Vitamin A has several important functions in the body, including the maintenance of proper vision. When the body is deficient in Vitamin A, the eye gradually loses its ability to adapt to changes in light resulting in "Night Blindness." Another vital role of vitamin A concerns the formation, maintenance, and growth of skin, which forms the body's primary barrier to infection.

Vitamin A from fish liver oil dispersed with apple and/or citrus pectin for emulsification in the body when taken with liquids such as water, tea or juice.

Directions

Adults take one soft gel three times weekly.

Warnings

Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do not take if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

The recommended daily serving of this product contains more than 10,000 IU of Vitamin A from retinol. Large amounts of Vitamin A from retinol are known to cause birth defects.

Some ingredient separation may occur within soft gels.
