"I love Carlson's products! They are good quality and you can't beat the price! It's estimated that 85% of the nation is extremely low on vitamin D and with these prices, there is no reason why we all shouldn't be adding this to our regimen!"

"I have not had my vitamin D level checked since I started taking these so I really don't know about their effectiveness. I ordered this product after reading an article by a cardiologist that said that he observed in his patients that vitamin D3 was better absorbed in a softgel format. Prior to that I had always used a tablet. I've read many articles by doctors(including Dr Mercola) who have a lot of trust in the Carlson Company and I think the 1000IU is a dose that is not going to be too much. Actually probably way too low, but I'll try and get out in the sun for 15 minutes 3x a week. Then I'll have my levels checked as that is the ONLY way to know for sure if you are getting the correct dose for you. Vitamin D3 is so inexpensive (free if you get it with sunshine) it's a shame more people aren't aware of it's many benefits. These softgels are quite small and easy to swallow."
