At the farm today we learned that not all bugs are pests! Organic farmers get help from beneficial insects ("good bugs") to protect their crops from pest insects ("bad bugs"). The pests can destroy crops, but the "good bugs" defend against them so the farmers don't need to use harmful chemicals. Isn't that cool?

When you eat organic foods you help the environment because organic farmers don't use chemical fertilizers and pesticides and that's a good idea!
