Tasting Notes
A new take on classic Chai tea, this decaffeinated Green Chai has all the flavour of a normal chai and then some.
One of the more mild chai blends, this tea is still spicy and robust. Celebration Herbals blended strong, full bodied Indian green tea with exotic aromatic spices to create this taste sensation perfect for a cold winter day or iced on a hot summer day.

Green Tea comes form the same source as White, Oolong, and Black tea; the tea bush known to botanists as Camellia sinensis. this tea comes from India where teas traditionally have a stronger flavor than Chinese teas because of the unique climate and mountainous growing conditions. A special CO2 Pure Water Decaffeination process removes caffeine, but leaves all the flavour.
We've blended this great tasting, bold decaffeinated Green Tea with a befitting mix of chai spices that are a little spicy, and quite savory.
Great on its own, this tea is also great with milk (dairy or soy). If you intend to add milk, brew this tea a bit longer than normal, about 7 minutes.
It all starts with the herbs. Celebration Herbals is dedicated to bringing you the best tasting teas, grown and processed as close to "the way nature intended" as possible and never irradiated.
These herbs are grown and harvested with the highest standards of quality control. You can trust these new special designations - Certified Organic, Ethically Wildcrafted, and Pure Quality.

A brief history of Chai:
The legend of Chai originates in India (perhaps Siam) over 5000 years ago where the royal family or their court created the first chai recipes and guarded them as national treasures.
Traditional brewing required boiling sweet and savory spices in milk and water, then adding black tea, steeping and straining the mixture. Honey was frequently added to counter the intense spiciness and bitterness.
These teabags put an end to this labor intensive process. There's a Celebration Herbal chai blend for every taste, from mild to very spicy, with and without caffeine.
Here's how Chai is brewed.
