This herb has been used for centuries and was advocated by Hypocrites as a food in times of famine as noted in the bible. Marshmallow grows up to 4 feet in damp wet area. The plant sends up several unbranched wooley stems with clumps of very pale pink five petaled flowers. They grown on a stem amongst soft greyish green leaves which are good in salads.

Mild Flavor, Powerful Tea

"This tea has a very mild in flavor so I use 3 bags and add a nice fruit teabag to the cup. The benefits of marshmallow are so important to my situation. I have definitely experienced great benefits from drinking this tea. It is also very difficult to find marshmallow as a single ingredient tea. I am back here ordering more of this sweet and beneficial tea."

"I used two tea bags per tiny cup of boiling water and did not get any flavor out of this tea. I read that marshmallow root was good for interstitial cystitis, but I feel like this tea won't be benefitting me."
