yummy but not as pictured

"i was disappointed when these didn't rise. and they unrolled a bit as well in the oven. after they have cooled the outside is a little hard while the inside stays nice and gooey. my mom and daughter both loved them and they were tasty, just a different outcome then i expected. i think next time i will roll them horizontally instead and make fewer but bigger buns. that might help."

"These cinnamon rolls tasted SO bad. They didn't rise or puff up at all - they were hard and tasted terrible. The recipe called for too much cinnamon, so they were bitter and not sweet at all. I ate one and threw the rest away."

"We love this product but we had to alter the directions on the package to fit our needs. As the cinnamon rolls, they were a little inconsistant in the cooking. We instead make it as a desert pizza. I typically add a little more fluid, (apple sauce and/or milk,) and roll it like a pizza. Cook it without any toppings for 8-10 minutes then brush with butter and add the brown sugar, cinnamon sugar, raisins, and pecans, sometimes apples. Cook for another 10 minutes and I drizzle a little homemade gf cream cheese icing. Everyone loves it!"

"I got this mix to make cinnamon rolls for my son who is gluten intolerant. Mixing it was okay, but trying to roll it out was very difficult, so I had to sprinkle my work surface and rolling pin with GF flour. I put on the butter and brown sugar and cinnamon and then rolled it up. So far so good. But they came unrolled in the oven, so they weren't like cinnamon rolls at all! My son thought they were good, but you have to reheat them with some butter to eat them after they've cooled!"

Chebe Gluten Free Cinnamon Roll Mix Directions

Baking Instructions:

PREHEAT oven to 375 F and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
BLEND Chebe Cinnamon Roll Mix with 2 tbsp oil and 2 large eggs. Slowly blend in 2 tbsp milk or milk substitute.
KNEAD dough with hands until elastic and smooth.
ROLL dough with a rolling pin into 8"x12" rectangle and evenly spread surface with 1 tbsp softened butter.
MIX 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tsp cinnamon and 1 tbsp softened butter with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over dough.
ROLL dough tightly from long side and seal closed by pinching (brush edge with water to help seal roll).
CUT into 1" slices and place cut side down in muffin tin cups.
BAKE 16-18 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from tin immediately, using a table knife. Turn over (sticky side up), let cool and enjoy.

Milk contains lactose and casein.
