"oh my goodness.. the smell made me sick!! i was expecting it to smell more like vanilla with a hint of chai.. WRONG!! it smells like chai alright, too much of it! the scent was unbearably strong, it also seemed to linger for a long time. I realize that everyone likes different scents, but i really can't see why anyone would like this.. and if i smelled this on someone i would not even be able them!!
Thankfully, vitacost let me pick another scent and i threw this stuff out!! I hated to waste it, but i would feel bad even trying to give this to someone!

The coconut one smells much better. The quality of the lotion is alright, though it seemed to dry out my hands, eventually."

"You will either love this or hate it! The ingredients are wonderful and the cream-lotion works well although it is heavy and can be sticky. If you need a heavier moisturize then it would work well. The fragrance is another thing. I like vanilla and like the 'taste' of chai so thought I would like this but it really is strong and I found it was not a smell I really like to wear. My husband did not like it at all either so I will use it up as a foot cream since it is a great moisturizer. I LOVE the Coconut one by this company though as does my husband so I will stick with that one from now on."

"I loved the feel of the lotion and the fact it's organic. Vitacost's price is excellent. But the smell is overpowering. Normally I'm not so sensitive to non-floral scents - and I LOVE vanilla. I drink a lot of chai tea also. But this cream, ugh, is so overpowering. Can't put it on my upper body--it's "okay" on my legs but I'm just going to try to find someone else who wants it..."
