"I didnt care for the conditioner at all but held onto the shampoo in this line for awhile. Overall it dried out my fine, highlighted hair and did not give much body. I eventually donated it to my husband. In fact, I have not been impressed with any of the Desert Essence Organics shampoos or conditioners, having tried three of them now. I do like their hand creams but will stay away from their haircare products at this time."

"I picked this one b/c of the ingredients list and I was right. For the price, this one is a true beauty. It cleanses well yet not stripping kind of volumizing shampoos that I have had bad experiences in the past. It is just right kind of cleaning and gives a right kind of sharp straight line to my hair. I love this product."

"I personally thought this stuff smelled too strong, and I had an allergy from the odor, even though it says it's all natural and organic, it does have parfum added which permeated everything in my bathroom. I offered it to my neighbor, and she said she could smell it when she opened the door (the bottle was closed)! First time having to return an item. Oh well, not for everyone."

"Another great product from Desert Essence without all the chemicals. Smells just like green apple (very lightly scented). A small amount goes a very long way making it very economical. It has a gel-like consistency but not quite as thick as sulfate shampoos. I have thick dry curly hair and this left my hair feeling like hair and not dried out like straw (like some sulfate-free shampoos). I would definitely repurchase again. The conditioner is another story though."
