"I really wanted to like this soap. I love the company, and like to support Fair Trade products. As a soap, it works fine. It cleans your hands and smells ok (though too weak, in my opinion). But there are two major problems. One, if you put it in a clear container, it looks disgusting. It's a very unappealing nearly opaque brown color that clings to the sides of the container. Two, more importantly, it will not stay in the container! It "creeps" up and comes out of the spout. I got sick of it, put it in a container with no pump, and removed it from my sink. I now use it for cleaning my bathroom, rather than myself."

"I've been using Bronner products for years, but this one exceeded my expectations. The first scent I tried from the Shikakai line was the lavender (which was very good quality, but I wasn't impressed with the smell). This, however, is absolutly fantastic. It works wonders when shaving and doesn't leave my sensitive skin with razor burn. It also doesn't seem quite as drying as regular castile and my skin is noticably softer. It has just the right amount of peppermint to get me going in the morning & make me feel refreshed after a hard work out. If youre looking for a new twist on an old favorite, this is it."

"This fragrance free "soap" lathers great, leaves my skin feeling soft and clean, and the peppermint in it is very refreshing and cooling for the summer months. Just be careful not to get it in your eyes and to rinse it quickly from your private areas to avoid burning. The peppermint can be intense."

"I started out using the Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile Peppermint soap years ago but continued to use other soaps as well. Now, as I become more and more "green" , eco-friendly and aware of the chemicals going on and in my sensitive skin and body, I find myself back to Dr. Bronner's and now see how many more products they offer. But any one soap offers so many uses. You can use it for hand soap, body soap, shampoo and for household cleaning to boot! You can even brush your teeth with it! (just add a little baking soda) I have now tried nearly all the products and swear by them. This particular product, Dr. Bronner's Magic "All-One!"™ Organic Shikakai Soap Spearmint Peppermint is a wonderful addition to any shower or bath. It leaves you with cool feeling skin and totally refreshed body. The addition of the pumps are a definite plus. (but note: you cannot refill these pumps with regular Dr. Bronner's liquid soaps, they wont dispense well without the shakakai mix) Highly Recommend! My next buy will be the Dr. Bronner's Organic Shikakai Liquid Soap Lemongrass Lime -- 24 fl oz. This product makes you smell like lemon lime! I wish I could buy it by the gallon!! (I ordered the smaller hand soap version not sure if I would like it and love it better than the rest!)"
