"I, unfortunately, ignored the previous reviewer who said that it smelled like old aerosol hair spray. It really does smell just like that and it is a strong scent. The smell lingers on the skin and I just couldn't take it. I dumbed the whole bottle after only two uses."

"I've been using this product for a couple of years. I use it as a toner/cleaner when I'm too lazy to wash, I use it for the occasional break-out, but it is really my main go-to product for ingrown hairs/after shave. You can feel the sting a bit (witch hazel) but there's actually something soothing about that in an odd sort of way. I used to wear a beard or not shave for weeks at a time until I found this product which allows me to shave a couple times per week (sometimes a couple days in a row) and avoid the "razor rash" and ingrown hairs. In terms of the other reviewers comment about the smell, I sort of agree that they could have done a better job with the scent they use as their "parfume", but it's not that bad once it dries so you just have to get past that smell as it's going on. But for those of you with ingrown hairs/razor bumps/rash, the smell is a small price to pay for a product that works well."
