Earth Therapeutics Sport Accu-Tap™ Massager Directions
To use, gently tap the head of the massager on and around the problem area. Tap with the wooden bristle side of the head to loosen up surface stiffness. Or tap with the rubber bumpy side to treat stiffness that is more deeply rooted in the muscles.
In either case, please take care not to hit too hard. Gentle, sustained tapping of the affected area [from a few seconds to a few minutes - as desired] usually results in the most effective treatment.
This massager employs a method of massage called "tapotement". With practice, you can arrive at your own special tapping "rhythm" that you feel most comfortable with. The flexible neck of the massager allows you to establish that tapping rhythm without exerting too much energy. And the length of the massager allows your to reach and treat your own back and shoulder.
