Ecco Bella has changed the shampoo formula in order to apply for organic certification. They eliminated the parabens and upgraded the surfactants (cleansing agents) to meet Whole Foods Premium standards (we continue to be a premium brand). They replaced the water with organic aloe vera. Just so you know the formula has a finer denser but less copious foam and is slightly thinner than the old formula.

"My hair was stiff and I could not get my fingers through it after applying the shampoo during washing it in the shower. I would not recommend this product. I'm really sad it was such a disappointment."

"My husband won't use any other shampoo. When our local health food store switched distributors, they didn't carry this any more and had to special order it. I searched for another place to buy it and Vita-Cost's price was more reasonable than anywhere else. It's a "must-have" item at our house."

"The first time you smell this you say, oh, vanilla. The next few times you smell it, you can't get away from it. It is a scent that lingers and follows you around. Some people might like that, but it is an extremely strong vanilla scent. Burns my nose! This shampoo and conditioner did nothing for my hair. Try the Aubrey Organics Honeysucke Rose line and the Aubrey Organics Island Naturals. Those shampoos and conditioners detangle like magic and leave my long thick hair feeling like silk."
