"In the quest for mouthwash (and other products) with healthy, non-toxic ingredients this one gets high marks. I never thought mouthwash could be "complex" - it's not only the peppermint, but the licorice(anise) and other essential oils that make it a refreshing oral cleanser that is good tasting, too. It is relatively expensive but begin comparing ingredients and the choices narrow significantly."

"I will use this (and their toothpowders) forever. I will NEVER switch back to conventional mouthwashes or pastes. Despite careful maintainance of my teeth, I had developed a problem with bleeding gums whenever I flossed. Using Eco Dent products (toothpowder, rinse and floss), has virtually eliminated that problem. My teeth are clean and feel smooth. The taste of the rinse is a little "different" at first, but with time, I actually now prefer it to alcohol based washes (I was using a the Target house brand "up & up). Besides the fact that these products really DO work (they are PREMIUM, just like the label says!!!), I love the fact that they are all natural and not tested on animals. I also love the fact that I am supporting a smaller company by purchasing their products. The bottle of toothpowder will last forever. The floss is 100 yds. The ONLY drawback is with the mouthwash...it is a small 8 oz bottle and I have to buy 2 at a time. However, this same bottle sells for $10 at Whole Foods and here it's almost half that. It's pricey, but definitely worth it. I highly, highly recommend anyone looking for natural dentistry products to try Eco Dent (Burt's Bee is owned by Clorox and Toms of Maine contains SLS so do some of the Natural Dentist products...Eco Dent is really awesome!)

"This is a nice mouthwash and a super cleaner too. I had an issue with a tooth that was filled and then I developed a problem on my gum from the tooth issue, needless to say, after using this a few times a day, the problem goes away. It will come back time and again, but I use this product and it's like majic, the issue disappears. Taste good and clean and is natural, the best part."

"I've been using this product for over 10 yrs. My hygienist is alway amazed at how healthy my mouth is. I've given this to my friends who have mouth sores, inflamed gums etc. and this product not only stops the pain, but heals the mouth too.

Eco-dent Ultimate Essential Mouth Care Directions

Adults and children 2 and over, Swish 2-3 capfuls in mouth over affected area for at least 1 minute. Expel. Use up to four times daily or as directed by a dentist or doctor. Supervise use by children under 12.

Children under 2: Consult a dentist or doctor.

Daily Use: To improve daily oral hygiene, rinse or gargle for 20-30 seconds with 1 capful after eating or brushing. Use as needed for sparkling clean breath and a tingly fresh mouth.

Temporary Use as an Oral Wound Cleanser: Indications: Ultimate Essential MouthCare Rinse may also be used on a temporary basis to cleanse and soothe canker sores and minor wounds or gum inflammation resulting from minor dental procedures, dentures, orthodonic appliances, accidental injury, or other irritation of the mouth and gums.

Ingredients: Water, Castor Bean Oil (sulfated), Menthol, Peppermint Oil, Anethole, Echinacea Extract, Goldenseal Extract, Stevia, Tea Tree Oil, CoQ10, Essential Oils of Orange, Lemon, Sweet Fennel, Anise, Geranium, Bergamot, Fougere, Lavender, Rosemary, Basil, and Rose.
