"Smaller in size than it appears and the jury is still out on whether the cat likes playing with it or just likes that we're playing with her.
I personally love it and it seems like fun but sometimes she looks a little frightened of it as it is motion activated so it will light up on its own.
Also, the outer case is a hard plastic so it makes a loud noise when it rolls around.
I would say think about your cat's temperament before buying, if he or she startles easily, this is probably not the right toy."

"Have five felines and four of them love to play with this ball, esp. in dark or shaded areas. The fifth cat snoozes more than plays. They really love chasing this ball and when I toss it up the stairs -- they bounce with the ball all the way down! They play with many types of balls and toys, and this one as well. I let time pass between each toy they play with and that keeps them fresh and fun."
