Not all pumpkin seeds are suitable for oil pressing; the species predominantly used for Flora Pumpkin Seed Oil are cucurbita stilbo and cucurbita maxima both of which are grown in pesticide free areas of Austria and Hungary. "For health reasons I have been using unrefined oils, they are hard to find and expensive. The Flora pumpkin oil far surpasses any other brand that I have found and the flavor is amazing- perfect for salad dressings.
