"Thank goodness this uses real almond oil - for the tiny bit that I use (smoothies mostly), it's perfect. Natural oil is good for us - I'm grateful to utilize something that is found in nature (it's not like I'm slathering synthetic margarine all over everything for Pete's sake)...And how GREAT is it that this is alcohol-free?"

"I was beyond excited to try this and upon first taste, it was spot on identical to "almond", however that's where the good ends. Part of the reason I go for "flavors" as opposed to extract is partly to avoid the alcohol and it's calories, but also because it seems more natural. So I was disturbed to see one of the first ingredients listed to be almond oil. Thus rendering something that should be calorie free, probably somewhat heavier in calories for this type of product. Being that I like a stronger flavor in my yogurt or coffee, I usually use quite a bit of flavoring or extract, but with oil as one of it's ingredients, it's basically going in the trash."
