Garden of Life Oceans Kids® DHA Chewables™ Berry Lime Directions

Children three and older take 4 chewable softgels daily or as otherwise directed by your pediatrician. May be chewed or swallowed. Best if taken with meals. For optimal freshness, store in a cool, dry place and use contents within 3 months of opening.

Warnings

As with any dietary supplement, consult your healthcare practitioner before using this product, especially if your child is allergic to iodine, uses blood thinners, anticipates surgery, or is under medical supervision. Small objects like pills can become inadvertently lodged in the throat. Softgels may be pierced and contents can be mixed with water, juice of food. "My 2 year old son loves them. They do have a slight fish flavor, but he doesn't seem bothered by it, probably because the kid will eat sardines right out of the can, lol. They're a good size."

"I thought that a chewable fish oil was a great idea so that I could get these beneficial nutrients into my kids. I read the other great reviews and thought these would be wonderful. I opened the bottle and tried one myself before giving one to my kids. I took a bite and YUCK -- overwhelming taste of fish oil -- NASTY! I immediately spit it into the trash. I wouldn't subject my children to the horrible taste of these pills. I am going to just take them myself as a swallow-able version of fish oil. They are unsuitable for chewing and definitely not for kids."

"My kids hated these. After a few days, I thought I would try one to see what was so bad. They taste exactly like oil from a can of Tuna - NOT AT ALL BERRY FLAVORED. I felt terrible that I 'forced' my kids to take these even one time."

"I do not recommend this product! My daughter thought it tasted horrible , then my husband and I tried it and we both agree! It completely tastes like fish oil and not at all like berry blast. We are back to Nordic Naturals Children's DHA- for a few pennies more it is worth it!"
