"I really like this shampoo and the coordinating conditioner. It softens my dry, wavy/curly hair, and increases the curl and body I have (even getting some nice spiral curls) without drying my hair out or making it frizzy. It gives a good lather and my hair feels nice and clean but still soft. It's Curly Girl friendly too if you do that! Smell is okay, kind of like fruity bumblegum maybe? It's hard to pin down, but I only smell it while using and not after I get out of the shower, so no big deal. I also really like the Giovanni 50/50 shampoo and conditioner and will probably use the 50/50 during the summer and the Smooth As Silk in winter."

"I wanted to try this product line so bought the travel sizes. Unfortunately, this shampoo did nothing for my hair. No silky feeling. If anything, it left it dry (even with the conditioner added). However, I do love that it is better than traditional shampoos at the store and the smell is fabulous! I can't pinpoint it, but it reminds me of a certain candy I had years ago. Just can't recall the name of it. lol Anyhow, for those two points alone, I would definitely recommend it to others, but as for me, I will have to try something else because it did nothing for my hair."
