Supports Prostrate Function. Saw Palmetto and Pygeum support prostrate health. Lecithin facilitates absorption of the herbal extracts. The berries of Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) are standardized to 85-90% of various types of fatty acids and sterols such as beta-sitosterol, lupeol, campesterol, cycoartenol, farnesol and phytol. The bark of Pygeum afticanum (Prunus africana) is standardized to 13% sterols such as beta-sitosterol, beta-sistosterone and n-docosanol.

"It is important that as men age they be routinely checked for prostate problems, both by blood tests and physical examination by a health care professional. Once you are certain that whatever problems you've noticed are the result of BPH (benign prostate hyperplasia - a natural enlargement of the prostate gland that occurs with aging and presents as changes to usual urinary patterns - a weak stream or the need to get up at night, etc.), you may find this product extremely helpful."
