Supports Visual Function. Vision Optimizer® supports visual function and ocular antioxidant status. Lutein and Zeaxanthin are critical antioxidant carotenoids for the macula of the eyes. Dark green leafy vegetables are good sources of lutein and zeaxanthin. Lutein and zeaxanthin reduce age-related increase in the lens’ density. New Zealand Blackcurrant Extract (Ribes nigrum) contains powerful polyphenol antioxidants that reduce eye fatigue and promote eye comfort. Grape Seed Extract (Vitis vinifera) supports the strength of capillaries and other blood vessels in the eyes. "Vision Optimizer is one of only two "healthy vision" formulas I would recommend (the other being NSI's OcuPower).
In addition to the expected nutrients (Lutein, Zeaxanthin), Vision Optimizer's superior formulation includes Bilberry, Ginkgo Biloba, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Gamma Tocopherol (a superior form of vitamin E), Grape Seed extract, Quercetin, and Taurine, nutrients all shown to help protect the eyes from free radical damage, as well as improve circulation and strenghthen the blood vessels supplying the eyes.
This latest version of Vision Optimizer is even better than previous formulations, which a number of people told me worked great for a variety of occular-related disorders."
