"Vitamin e is a less effective antioxidant in its synthetic acetate form. Natural vitamin E may be as much as twice as bioavailable as synthetic vitamin E.Vitamin E forms are listed as either plain “tocopherol” or tocopheryl followed by the name of what is attached to it, as in “tocopheryl acetate.” The two forms are not greatly different. However, plain tocopherol may be absorbed a little better, while tocopheryl attached forms have a slightly better shelf life. Both forms are active when taken by mouth. However, the skin utilizes the tocopheryl forms very slowly,11 12 so those planning to apply vitamin E to the skin should buy plain tocopherol. So my advice is to another product, best wishes!"

"I only give 4 stars for effectiveness because I haven't been using it long enough to see how it does in several months or a year to repair severely damaged skin. However, short term effectiveness is very good. There is a short applicator attached to the lid which I use to drip the thick oil onto my hand. I mix it with my favorite lotion - Shikai Borage Oil lotion or JASONS EFA hand & body lotion. It mixes well & goes on smoothly with the lotion. On it's own, it's a bit more difficult to spread & smooth on. A few taps around the eyes full strength is easy enough. It takes a few minutes to soak in completely, sometimes taking much longer if used full strength. I've covered my feet with it & put on cotton socks before bed for a good overnight soak & the difference the next morning is amazing! Soft & supple where before had been callouses, extremely dry skin with cracking. Mixed with lotion, I'll put it on after being out in the sun & boy does my skin love that!
After one month of using it mixed in lotion - equal parts lotion & oil - I have noticed a difference in the smoothness of my face. The skin around my eyes doesn't seem to be as lined as before. The dry patch on my forehead has cleared up & the laugh crease around my mouth has lessened as well.
All in all, a great product at a great price."

"This oil is very sticky, but works great when mixed in any lotion to make a rich nourishing cream. Have used it for years to keep my middle aged skin perfectly smooth. Highly recommended. Don't waste your money on expensive anti-aging creams."
