2. The Water. Start with a cold filtered spring, or tap water. Water should be at boiling point (195-205 degrees Fahrenheit). Cooler will underextract, a rolling boil will burn the coffee.
3. The Proportion. Use two tablespoons ground coffee per 6 ounce cup. Adjust to taste.
