The Exstream portable water purification system as a microbiological water purifier is not intended for use with brackish or salt water. Only for short term or limited emergency use and not recommended for long-term or routine community water supply application. This cartridge contains iodide resin. Persons with iodine allergies or thyroid problems and pregnant women should consult their doctor before using this device because small amounts of iodine may remain in the treated water.
