"I had purchased the refillable k-cup for my k-cup machine with trepidation since I had read other reviews saying it was terrible (put grounds in coffee etc.). Therefore, I was surprised that by following the directions and only filling the reuseable cup 2/3 the way, it worked fine. I find the taste of my gourmet flavored coffees outshines the coffee in the normal k-cups. The harder plastic of the reusable k-cup does not migrate into the coffee unlike the one-time cups. Of course, the cost per cup has shot down using this. Cleaning is very readily done (quick rinse, I don't bother to dry), you have to push the one-time k-cup holder out with a finger (2 seconds) and it just sits on the frame (no snapping), it lifts out for cleaning (putting the one-time k-cup filter back in requires a snap but it is a 2-second operation too). Again, those who spoke ill of this product probably overfilled the reusable or forgot to put the one-time k-cup seat back in before trying to make coffee that way again. Thanks to Bob & Kaye, who alerted me to the fact that this product is great! Since I drink caf and my wife decaf, we find the k-cup machine is what we need."

"Works well in a pinch when you are out of k-cups. Nothing beats the convenience and freshness of a k-cup. So if you think you will use this device to save money, think again. It just isn't any fun and you find yourself reaching for a real k-cup. I gave the taste 5 stars, but it all depends on the coffee you use and if you grind fresh beans."
