Klean Kanteen® is the original stainless steel bottle designed for personal hydration. Klean kanteen® was created to give you a body- and earth-friendly alternative to plastic and they committed to making an extremely high-quality durable bottle from the get go.

Before anybody else was making stainless steel water bottles for personal daily hydration, before the current widespread concern about health and environmental issues related to plastics they were cobbling together the first Klean Kanteen® prototype from things they bought at the local hardware store in Chico, California. Today, they've go a whole line of bottles in different sizes, colors and designs, perfect for every style and use.

Not all metal bottles are created equal

Your new Klean Kanteen® Classic is made from extremely durable, high-quality, 18/8 food-grade stainless steel, including the threads. Put simply, it is designed to last. Bottles not made to comparable standards can be thin, quick-to-dent and easily damaged. Aluminum bottles are problematic because they must be lined, usually with a plastic resin, to keep aluminum from leaching into your drinks.
