"Naturally sweet and spicy. These bars remind me more of gingerbread than a cookie but either way they are tasty. They are fragrant as soon as you open the package and while they do have a distinct ginger taste, it isn't too strong. The dates and other ingredients mellow the ginger's flavor."

"These bars are great and spicey. I eat them broken up in frozen blueberries. Since they do not have the consistency of a crispy cookie, the ginger snap name is a little off, but it is still a good tasting bar if you like ginger and cloves."

"These are one of the most tasty of the Lara bars, only one of the few with added spices. This is gingery, yes, but, it also has two other spices to both complement and tone down the ginger. And, it was all three spices I tasted, not just the ginger. It's a wonderful blend of flavors."
