Perfect snack

"We discovered these large tasty coconut flakes locally this past weekend, and now I am ordering 5 bags from Vitacost. Unsweetened yet sweet, plus nutritious and filling. The flakes are sometimes short, fine shreds like traditional bags but this product is unique for the many long "curls" that are similar to wood shavings in size (sometimes up to an inch long and quarter-inch wide). This larger size means they are tender, juicy, and far more delicious and substantial than the normal thin tiny "flakes." I add then to my granola we also eat them as a snack. Superb!"

"Baked a coconut pound cake and the size of these flakes are way too big for baking. It turned out to be too chewy and cake crumbled every time I cut a slice due to big flakes. I like the size of Bob's Red Mill flakes....just right."
