Directions
Step 1 Install A. Remove the Filter-Housing Cap B. Twist the expired Filter counterclockwise, lift and remove. C. Remove the New Carbon-bock filter from the plastic packaging and discard the red plugs. D. Insert and turn clockwise until it locks in place. E. Replace the Filter-Housing Cap.
Step 2 Reset To reset the filter counter, press the manual dispense button until the amber status indicator light goes off.
Step 3 Condition A. Fill the processing carafe to the fill line. B. Lock in place and press the process button. C. Dispense the water manually or automatically into the carafe. Do Not Drink This Water D. Repeat steps A to C three more times. E. Hand wash the Clean Water Carafe with mild detergent. F. Ready to process microbiologically safe, great-tasting drinking water.
Warnings
Do not use (this carbon-block filter alone) with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the (carbon-block filter) system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water-treatment system are not necessarily in all users' water.
