Too loow RPM,

"I bought two of this power mixer a while ago. The design is fine and the product is sturdy. My major problem with it is the very low RPM produced by the electric motor used in this device, for the six AAA batteries required. I removed the shunt (protective) resistance in one of my mixers; this slightly increased the motor's RPM, but not enough to properly mix my protein shakes! The second of the 2 units I purchased is still in its box, unopened!

Overall, the low RPM and low torque of the electric motor used in this mixer makes it useless, thus my 1 star rating!"

Poor design,

"I thought this product would save me a lot of hassle and cleaning in making shakes--forget the blender, just mix it in the cup. But it is cumbersome and poorly designed. You can't mix anything that needs ice cubes because it just isn't strong enough, and the cubes would probably break the mixer device. And when I tried to mix something hot, it stopped working. I found I had to replace the brand new batteries, possibly because of the heat.
Once the shake is mixed, it is really difficult to drink it out of the lid which is heavy and keeps bumping into your nose. And cleaning of the lid is really difficult. You are not supposed to immerse it in water because it contains the batteries, so you have to gently clean it by hand, but it is tough to get all the way down the spout because it is so long and narrow.
I stopped using it after one use!"
