This unique formula combines a standardized extract of 80% silymarin, the active ingredient in Milk Thistle with Dandelion Root. Silymarin acts as an antioxidant to protect the liver. It enhances the activity of erythrocytes and lymphocytes and works to protect against alcohol induced liver damage, as well as other liver damage. Dandelion Root has the biologically active substance tarazacin, which is useful as a liver tonic and as a general system stimulant.
