"When I buy this product from grocery stores I can tell it's been sitting on the shelf for a long time. There is a thick film of goo at the bottom of the can. Not so when ordered from Vitacost. The price is very competitive as well."

"Fresh goat milk is very likely healthy, and possibly even good tasting (I've never tried it) but you wont ever know from this product.

First, this is evaporated (double strength) milk which I didnt realize until after I bought it. So I did dilute it before tasting it, but still spit it out. I thought, maybe its because I didnt chill it, but even after a day in the fridge, it still had that same horrible taste.

I notice this company also makes powdered goat milk- well thats what this tastes like- reconstituted powdered milk. It doesnt say it is, but I think thats exactly what this is, reconstituted from powdered goat milk.

It has that same awful, heavy, sour and distinctive (but hard to describe) taste you get from reconstituting powdered milk.
Maybe you can cook it into things, but don't try to use it where you might actually taste it.

I hoped to use it in chai, or on oatmeal - no way. Im probably going to pour it the rest out. Its just disgusting.

If I want alternative dairy, Im going to stick with rice, soy, almond, or even coconut milk."
