How Does NSI® 100% Pure Citronella Oil work?
NSI® 100% Pure Citronella Oil is a highly concentrated, undiluted extract that’s steam distilled from Cymbopogon nardus, a perennial of the Poaceae grass family. With a strong, lemony aroma, citronella essential oil contains geraniol, citronellol and citronellal as its main constituents. Its natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties make citronella oil an ideal ingredient for household cleaning products and insecticides.

Citronella essential oil may also be used to cleanse skin and manage perspiration. It’s commonly used in soaps and body care products to help balance oily skin and provide deodorant benefits. It’s refreshing, uplifting scent may boost energy and relieve head tension.

Citronella essential oil is considered “energizing, uplifting and purifying.” It’s typically used in aromatherapy to:
