How does NSI® Fiber Slim with Viscofiber® work?
Fiber Slim is a unique weight-management formula containing oat beta-glucan, a soluble dietary fiber derived from oats. It increases the viscosity of foods in the stomach, forming a soft gel which helps slow the passage of foods from the stomach to the small intestines. This helps create a longer-lasting feeling of fullness, therefore supporting weight management.
Oat beta-glucan is also known to promote cardiovascular health. More than 40 human clinical studies have shown that oat beta-glucan can help lower total and LDL cholesterol levels. It's believed to work by binding to bile acids (produced by the liver) in the gastrointestinal tract, which prevents them from being reabsorbed through the small intestine. Some of the bile acids are flushed from the body through the digestive tract, forcing the liver to then take cholesterol from the bloodstream to reproduce lost bile acids. This, in turn, reduces the amount of cholesterol retained by the body.
Viscofiber® is a highly viscous beta-glucan concentrate from oats, containing up to 9 times more fiber than oat bran. It's manufactured using a unique, patented extraction process that does not alter the structure of the natural grain, but keeps the beta-glucan intact, preserving its natural viscosity. Viscofiber® has been shown to be 20 to 30 times more viscous than the next leading beta-glucan concentrates, which use extraction technologies that degrade cell structures.
Soluble fiber from foods such as the oat beta glucan in Fiber Slim with Viscofiber® as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol can help maintain heart health. A serving supplies 750 mg of Viscofiber® Oat Beta-Glucan Concentrate, standardized to 45% B-glucan).

All NSI supplements are packaged in HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) bottles. These bottles keep moisture vapor out, protecting the freshness and integrity of their contents, and are 400% more effective compared other brands currently using PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles. HDPE bottles do not break as glass can and are also recyclable so we urge you to please recycle them.
