How Does NSI® Ginger Root work?Ginger is a knotted, thick, beige underground stem (or rhizome) of the plant
Zingiber officinale. Native to Asia, ginger has been used as both a spice and for its health-promoting properties for centuries. It's believed to aid digestion and is often used to relieve nausea associated with motion sickness and pregnancy. It may also have anti-inflammatory properties and benefit joint health.
Ginger may also be effective in reducing nausea and stomach upset. It may stimulate digestive function and improve circulation to the digestive organs, increasing production of enzymes and fluids that ease the digestive process. For nausea, gas or indigestion, the recommended dose of ginger is 1,000 mg every four hours as needed, or 1,100 mg three times daily.
Ginger may also have anti-inflammatory properties. It may help to inhibit the production of immune-system components called cytokines. These chemicals are believed to create a long-term tendency toward inflammation¹. Ginger may also promote healthy circulation, supporting cardiovascular health.
NSI® Ginger Root is better because it:
Delivers 1,100 mg of ginger root extract per serving.
Is a safe, natural way to help alleviate digestive discomfort while traveling.
