How does NSI® Healthy Cholesterol Version 2 work?
NSI Healthy Cholesterol Version 2 contains beneficial amounts of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that may help support favorable cholesterol levels already in the normal range. It includes vitamin B3, which in addition to cholesterol support, may also enhance the effectiveness of certain medications taken for cholesterol management. Pantethine, a form of vitamin B5, helps the body use other vitamins more effectively and may help balance cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

The trace mineral chromium also helps break down fats and carbohydrates. Grape seed extract is a powerful antioxidant that, when used with chromium, has been shown to positively benefit cholesterol. Green tea, another potent antioxidant, is rich in a compound popularly known as EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) which is believed to be extremely effective in promoting overall cardiovascular health. The antioxidant compounds in green tea may help contribute to sound cholesterol levels and may also help inhibit the cholesterol in your blood from oxidizing.
 
What's New in Version 2?
This new version of NSI Healthy Cholesterol now provides 1,200 mg of Red Yeast Rice extract, which contains fiber, rice starch and fatty acids, as well as monacolin and mevinolin, which may promote healthy cholesterol levels.

Red Yeast Rice may also lower CoQ10 levels (similar to statin cholesterol-lowering drugs). It is therefore recommended to consume at least 100 mg per day of CoQ10 when taking red yeast rice. Consider adding our own NSI® CoQ10 supplement to your everyday regimen.

Beta sitosterol is a naturally-occurring compound found in plants believed to help absorb cholesterol and help maintain sound levels. This new version contains 300 mg of Beta sitosterol, up from the 150 mg previously used to offer even more cholesterol support.
