How Does NSI® IP-6 Inositol Hexaphosphate Work?Inositol Hexaphosphate (IP-6) is a naturally-occurring nutrient found in certain dietary fibers including grain (rice, wheat, oat, corn), legumes, nuts and seeds. Also known as phytic acid, IP-6 is a rich source of phytate compounds that inhibit oxidative reactions initiated by iron (one of the major contributors to the spread of free radicals in the body).
IP-6 may be responsible for the benefits of high-fiber diets, including immune health, cardiovascular and blood sugar support. However, IP-6 rarely occurs in soluble fiber but is instead attached to the bran (the hard, insoluble fiber), making it difficult for the body to digest hence obtaining IP-6 in supplement form is recommended.
IP-6 may have protective and growth-regulating effects on cells and tissues including the colon, liver, prostate, lungs, breast and skin. IP-6 has been found to increase natural killer (NK) cell activity in mice¹, as well as reduce cell proliferation² and DNA synthesis in immune-damaging cells³.
IP-6 may also have beneficial effects on blood sugar level maintenance, similar to the effect of many dietary fibers.
NSI® IP-6 contains purified inositol hexaphosphate, extracted from rice bran, the preferred source of IP-6. Recommended dosage is between two and four capsules per day.
NSI® IP-6 Inositol Hexaphosphate is better because it:
Delivers 500 mg of IP-6 per capsule.
Offers a more bioavailable source of IP-6 than foods naturally containing the nutrient.

All NSI supplements are packaged in HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) bottles. These bottles keep moisture vapor out, protecting the freshness and integrity of their contents, and are 400% more effective compared other brands currently using PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles. HDPE bottles do not break as glass can and are also recyclable so we urge you to please recycle them.
