- Thiamin (vitamin B-1) is a B-complex vitamin that plays an important part in the breakdown of foods, especially carbohydrates. It helps the body convert carbohydrates into glucose, which is then used to produce energy. Thiamin also supports healthy nerve and muscle function, and enhances the body's ability to handle stress.

- Benfotiamine is a special form of vitamin B1 that may help control formation of Advanced Glycation Endproducts (AGEs).
