The St. John’s Wort Extract in Neurolift™ Basic is standardized to 0.3% hypericin and 3% hyperforin, ensuring consistent levels of the active ingredients are included in each serving.

Alpha Lipoic Acid, 300 mg
Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is a vitamin-like compound with powerful antioxidant properties. It promotes healthy cell function and may provide protective benefits against cell damage caused by free radicals. ALA is known as the universal antioxidant, as it is both fat- and water-soluble, allowing it to protect multiple parts of cells. ALA is able to cross the blood/brain barrier and may help protect brain cells from oxidative damage. ALA supplementation is also known to increase levels of glutathione (one of the body’s most powerful antioxidants) in cells. Furthermore, it may help enhance the activity of other antioxidants, such as vitamin C and vitamin E.

5-HTP, 100 mg
5-HTP, or 5-hydroxytryptophan, is a precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin, a neurotransmitter essential to healthy mood and sleep. The body produces 5-HTP from tryptophan, an amino acid found in small amounts in high-protein foods. Taken in supplement form, 5-HTP may help increase serotonin production in the brain, which may positively influence mood. 5-HTP may also help with other health issues related to serotonin deficiency, including nervousness, body tension, stiffness and head cavity discomfort.
