How Does NSI® PABA work?PABA, or para-aminobenzoate potassium, is an amino acid also known as vitamin Bx that appears to be a component of folic acid. PABA, which is often added to sunscreens, is well known for its sun-protective qualities. It absorbs harmful ultraviolet (UV) and visible sunlight and, when applied topically, inhibits the development of sunburn.
As an antioxidant, PABA provides protection against free-radical damage. Free radicals are highly-reactive, unstable molecules generated by body processes such as breathing and digestion, but also by exposure to environmental factors like UV sunlight, pollution and smoke. Free radicals attack healthy cells, damaging membranes, mitochondria and DNA. Free-radical damage to cells is associated with accelerated aging.
PABA is also important in the breakdown and use of proteins. In addition, it aids in the formation of red blood cells and stimulates intestinal bacteria, which supports colon health and helps with the production of folic acid and pantothenic acid (vitamin B5).
While PABA is synthesized naturally by friendly bacteria in the intestines, it can also be obtained through dietary sources such as grains, spinach, mushrooms, molasses and meat. Supplementing with PABA may support skin and hair health, digestive health and cellular health.
NSI® PABA is better because it:
Deliver 500 mg of PABA per one-capsule serving.
Provides 300 servings per bottle.

All NSI supplements are packaged in HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) bottles. These bottles keep moisture vapor out, protecting the freshness and integrity of their contents, and are 400% more effective compared other brands currently using PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles. HDPE bottles do not break as glass can and are also recyclable so we urge you to please recycle them.
