Description
NSI® Phosphatidyl Choline contributes to healthy heart and liver function. May help promote sound cognitive function and healthy cholesterol levels.
How does NSI® Phosphatidyl Choline work?
Phosphatidylcholine (PC or PPC) belongs to a special category of fat-soluble substances called phospholipids, one of the principal types of lipid within the membrane. Often used synonymously with lecithin, phosphatidylcholine is found in soybeans, egg yolks, meat, and some vegetables. Choline, the primary constituent of PC, is found in eggs, beef, liver and wheat germ.
As a major component of cell membranes, phosphatidyl choline is important for their composition and repair. It promotes the efficient breakdown of fats in the body and to support a healthy heart and liver, as well as healthy cholesterol levels. It also supports sound mental function and memory by being an important precursor to the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine. In addition, it has been used to support endurance and stamina.
NSI® Phosphatidyl Choline Plus B6 contains 500 mg of these "essential phopholipids" plus Linoleic Acid, Phosphatidylethanolamine, Phosphatidylinositol, and other beneficial Phosphatides. As its name implies, the supplement also contains vitamin B6. Also known as pyridoxine, B6 is a water-soluble vitamin that also assists in brain function, contributes to a healthy heart and helps the body convert protein into energy.
NSI® Phosphatidyl Choline is better because it:
- Contains 500 mg of phosphatidyl choline in each convenient 2 capsule serving.
- Includes linoleic acid, an unsaturated omega-6 fatty acid.
- Is a better value when compared to other brands.
